Due to proposed changes to negative gearing announced in the Australian Federal Budget, several lenders have updated their assessments for investment loans.
If you have an investment Pre-Approval from a lender, please contact your broker or banker BEFORE you enter into a purchase contract in order to validate the amount.
One Truly Finance client has had their Pre Approval reduced from $1.02M to $720k due only to this change. A reduction of $300k borrowing power .. at the press of a button.
